What is Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is an evidence-based treatment that combines the carefully supervised use of ketamine, a legal and FDA-approved medicine, with intentional therapeutic support before, during, and after each session.
Ketamine works differently than traditional antidepressants. Rather than gradually adjusting brain chemistry over weeks, ketamine can rapidly create new neural pathways, opening a window of increased psychological flexibility and receptivity. In this state, the mind becomes less defended, the inner critic quiets, and clients often find themselves able to access parts of their inner world that have been inaccessible in traditional talk therapy.
This is not recreational use of a psychedelic. This is medicine, used intentionally and therapeutically, in a safe and supported environment. The ketamine experience itself is only one part of the process. What makes KAP truly transformative is the therapeutic work that surrounds it, the preparation we do together before, and the integration work we do after, to make meaning of what emerged and weave it into lasting change.
I will connect you with a board certified psychiatrist who will meet with you and prescribe the appropriate dosage of ketamine for your body. I have built a trusting partnership with the physicians at Journey Clinical. They offer telehealth appointments and accept many insurance plans.
If you elect to work with Journey Clinical, you will be prescribed sublingual lozenges that are mailed directly to your home with clear dosing instructions.
IV Ketamine: Another option is intravenous ketamine done in person at a local ketamine clinic. I can assist connecting you with a clinic and their medical staff will take over your treatment plan. Then we will schedule integration sessions within the 72 hour window of your dosing sessions to maximize the effectiveness of the medicine.

What to Expect
Preparation
1-3 individual sessions; $175/session
We will spend time together getting to know your history, your intentions, and what you're hoping this work might open up for you. We'll talk about what to expect, address any fears or questions, and make sure you feel genuinely ready. We will get clear on what you're bringing into the experience. This might be a specific part of yourself you want to get curious about, a belief you want to loosen, or simply an openness to whatever needs to surface.
Journey
2 hours In Person or Virtual; $350
In Person: We will meet in the comfort of my office where I will have things to help you feel relaxed and safe like pillows, a weighted blanket, eye mask, and music playlist specifically for this work. You can also bring anything with you that might provide comfort. You will need to have transportation home arranged b/c you cannot drive after dosing.
Virtual/At Home: You will have a chaperone or sitter near by, and we will connect via Zoom for the dosing session. This allows you to experience the medicine in the comfort of your home, given there are minimal distractions and you are safe.
You will take your prescribed dosage of ketamine, and I will be present with you throughout. Many clients experience a shift in ordinary consciousness, a softening of the usual mental chatter, a sense of expanded perspective, or a deep, unexpected emotional release. Some have profound insights. Others experience something quieter and more subtle. Every experience is valid and worked with.
Integration
1-3 Individual Sessions; $175/session
The real transformation takes root in the 72 hour window following the dosing. In the days and sessions following your ketamine experience, we'll explore what came up, what it means, and how to bring it into your everyday life. Without integration, insights fade. With it, they become the foundation for lasting change.
Integration will usually involve EMDR and/or parts work (IFS) to really take advantage of the neuroplasticity that the Ketamine elicits. This allows new core beliefs, adaptive thought processes, and connection with Self to really take root.
